What we do
How we protect your information: To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. All documents that include sensitive information are stored in a secure location within the credit union. How we collect your information: We collect your personal information, for example, when you
- open an account or apply for a loan
- use your credit or debit card or make a wire transfer
- show your government-issued ID
- sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
- affiliates from using your information to market to you
- sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies. (M-C has no affiliates)
Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies. Nonaffiliates we share with can include insurance companies, government agencies, plastic card processors (credit/debit/ATM), consumer reporting agencies, and check/share draft printers.
Joint Marketing A formal agreement between unaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Our joint marketing partners include CUNA Mutual Group’s MEMBERCONNECT and American Income Life Ins Co.
