On Saturday, August 17th, 2024, MC Federal Credit Union is hosting a Charity Basket Raffle at our Lewisburg location. We are inviting our friends within the community to join us in honoring and benefiting three great charities located in the communities we serve:
- Getting Ahead Foundation: Striving to pull members of our community out of poverty, Getting Ahead shows people how to “get ahead” in a “just getting by world”.
- Agape: Refusing to let good people fall through the cracks, Agape offers a range of programs addressing essential needs such as food, clothing, furniture, and even shelter when certain weather conditions are met.
- Camp Koala: Championing grieving children, Camp Koala provides grief counseling services to children free of charge, knowing loss knows no bounds.
This year we are turning our focus to some small-town initiatives that have a big-time impact. We are seeking donations of items, gift certificates, and experiences that can be offered at the event. Donations should be provided by Friday, August 9th and can be sent to MC Federal Credit Union, Attn Ashley Jones, 1339 Saint Mary Street, Lewisburg, PA 17837 or dropped off at any of our branch locations.
Doors for the event open at 11 AM. Alongside the Charity Basket Raffle, we will be holding a food & bake sale and a 50/50 drawing. The winners will be drawn beginning at 3 PM, you need not be present to win.
