On Wednesday, January 8th, MC Federal Credit Union kicked off another round of The Road to Financial Wellness in partnership with Getting Ahead Foundation. The Mifflinburg Group learned about account basics including the practical skills of writing a check and keeping a register. Instruction was led by Brian Wiktor, Chief Lending Officer, and Christopher Prowant, Branch Manager.
On Wednesday, January 15th, the second Mifflinburg session was taught by Annette Welch, Director of Operations, and Carla Schmidt, Branch Manager. This class focused on Lending and Credit Cards vs Debit Cards. The group learned about different types of loan products, how to shop for a loan, and the pros and cons of debit & credit cards.
