MC Federal Celebrates Six New The Road to Financial Wellness Graduates.

Educate, Enlighten, and Celebrate: three words that have become the pillars of The Road to Financial Wellness program presented by MC Federal Credit Union. The Road to Financial Wellness seeks to break down the barriers people face with their finances. The main goal is to remove the stigmas people face due to past choices, language barriers, or poverty, and build their knowledge and self-esteem as they take control of their finances.

In the 6-week program, participants are educated in areas such as accounts and fees, budgeting, rates, fraud, and credit and debit products. The class is focused on teaching basic economic empowerment skills and financial knowledge to serve as a road map to financial well-being. Leading the instruction is a dedicated team of MC FCU employees who volunteer their time to bring financial knowledge to others.

MC Federal Credit Union is proud to present the newest graduates of our financial literacy course, The Road to Financial Wellness. This class was hosted in partnership with Getting Ahead Foundation. We are excited to see this group of six individuals from the Sunbury area continue to grow on their journey of increased financial well-being.

Bonnie, a graduating participant, commented, “MC Federal Credit Union is an incredible organization that offers resources to individuals to reach their potential.” Another graduating participant added, “I was thankful for this opportunity. I’ve always lived off a budget and have been trying to improve my credit over the years. This program has answered some of my questions and gave me a better understanding about finances.”

MC FCU is grateful to be a part of your financial wellness journey. Congratulations to the newest graduates of The Road to Financial Wellness!
