Giving back to our communities is a core focus at MC Federal Credit Union. Each year, MC hosts a charity golf tournament to benefit local causes in the areas we serve. The 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament was held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Knoebels Three Ponds Golf Course. We invited our friends within the community to join us in honoring and benefiting three local charities:

• Getting Ahead Foundation: Striving to pull members of our community out of poverty, Getting Ahead shows people how to “get ahead” in a “just getting by world”.
• Agape: Refusing to let good people fall through the cracks, Agape offers a range of programs addressing essential needs such as food, clothing, furniture, and even shelter when certain weather conditions are met.
• Camp Koala: Championing grieving children, Camp Koala provides grief counseling services to children free of charge, knowing loss knows no bounds.

MC hosted many other fundraising events in addition to the golf tournament, including a bus trip to New York City during the holiday season and our 2nd Annual Charity Basket Raffle. Altogether, MC raised $35,000.00 to be split amongst the charities to help support each individual mission. We would like to extend a special thank you to all our sponsors and donors, without whom these events would not have been possible. In addition, we want to express our gratitude to all the golfers who were able to join us on the green.
