You Are Invited to Attend Our 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

On Friday, June 21^st, 2024, MC Federal Credit Union is hosting our 4^th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Knoebels Three Ponds Golf Course. We are inviting you to join us as we take some time to honor and benefit three great charities located in the communities we serve:

• Getting Ahead Foundation: Striving to pull members of our community out of poverty, Getting Ahead shows people how to “get ahead” in a “just getting by world”.
• Agape: Refusing to let good people fall through the cracks, Agape offers a range of programs addressing essential needs such as food, clothing, furniture, and even shelter when certain weather conditions are met.
• Camp Koala: Championing grieving children, Camp Koala provides grief counseling services to children free of charge, knowing loss knows no bounds.

This year we are focusing on some small-town initiatives that have a big-time impact. Please join in practicing the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People”.

On the day of the tournament, registration begins at 8:00 AM with a light breakfast. The Shotgun Start will take place at 9:00 AM, followed by an awards dinner at approximately 1:30 PM. Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate. Prizes include closest to the pin, hole in one, and flight awards. MC Federal Credit Union raises $30,000 to support local charities!

Each year, MC Federal Credit Union hosts a charity golf tournament to benefit local causes in the areas we serve. The 3^rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament was held on Friday June 23^rd, 2023, at Knoebels Three Ponds Golf Course. We invited our friends within the community to join us in honoring and benefiting four great local charities:

• Eos Therapeutic Riding Center which offers therapeutic horseback riding activities for mentally, physically, and emotionally challenged children, adults, and veterans.
• Mommy and Me Rescue and their devotion to rescuing dogs that are in need of homes, no matter the reason.
• The Good Samaritan Mission and their aim to meet the needs of economically disadvantaged individuals and help break the cycle of poverty in the Danville Community.
• Getting Ahead Foundation and their dedication to empowering members of our communities to rise out of poverty and equip them with the tools to lead nutritionally, physically, and financially healthy lives.

MC hosted many other fundraising events in addition to the golf tournament, including a bus trip to Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival and a Charity Basket Raffle. Altogether, we were able to raise $30,000.00 to be split amongst our charities to help support each individual mission. We would like to extend a special thank you to all of our sponsors and donors, without whom none of these events would be possible.

Charity Basket Raffle a Success!

The 1st ever MC Federal Charity Basket Raffle event held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 was a success. Over 100 prizes were raffled off to lucky winners. Along side the baskets, 50/50 tickets, food, and baked goods were available for purchase. The real winners from Saturday’s event are the charities who are supporting.

• Getting Ahead Foundation and their dedication to empowering members of our communities to rise out of poverty and equip them with the tools to lead nutritionally, physically, and financially healthy lives.
