On Tuesday, April 29, MC Federal hosted our 70th Annual Meeting, celebrating the achievements and milestones of the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.
Several team members were recognized for achieving years of service milestones:
25 Years – Doreen Artley, Accounting Clerk
15 Years – Mary Gratti, Loan Servicing Assistant
10 Years – Carla Schmidt, Branch Manager
5 Years – Ashley Jones, Marketing Specialist
5 Years – Melanie Matter, Member Service Representative
Following the Service Awards, President and CEO, Elba Arenas, delivered a joint message alongside Board Chairperson, Douglas Bastian. Overall their message spoke about the success of the prior year, how we are achieving our new vision, “to be the financial institution and workplace of choice in our community,” and our team’s commitment to serving our members and the community.
Next, an Installation Ceremony was held in which four nominees, Douglas Bastian, Rose Williams, Paul W.J. Dalkeiwicz, and Lonnie Hill, accepted their roles in serving on the MC Federal Credit Union Board of Directors.
Afterwards, Elba Arenas returned to the floor to present recognition awards. She started with the Shining Star Award, which honors a team member who rises above and beyond what is expected of them and sets a positive example to their peers. The Shining Star Award was presented to Shawn Merritt, Compliance and Information Security Officer.
The meeting was wrapped up with Elba’s announcement of the President’s Award winner. This award is for the non-exempt employee who sets the standard for living our Corporate Values. The 2024 President’s Award was presented to Kristen Bastian, Loan Officer.
