As a homeowner, your deed is part of the public record—which means third-party companies may use that information to send you unsolicited offers. We’ve recently seen an increase in both the number and frequency of these mailings being sent to homeowners in our community.
These notices often use urgent or official-sounding language such as:
“Important information about your mortgage”
“Mortgage life insurance options”
“Request to contact immediately”
“Lapse of warranty coverage”
Or other messages designed to appear time-sensitive
While these communications may look official, they are not from MC Federal Credit Union or any of our affiliated partners. Most include fine print explaining that they are sales solicitations from unrelated third parties.
If you receive an unexpected notice, take a moment to review it carefully before responding. When in doubt, reach out to us—our team is always here to help you determine whether something is legitimate.
