MC Federal Credit Union has been notified that members are receiving spoofed text messages that appear to come from our institution. The message asks you to verify a fraudulent charge by responding yes or clicking on an embedded link.
MC Federal Credit Union will never send an unsolicited text message and ask you to visit an embedded URL to verify a purchase. Do not provide any sensitive information to anyone not authorized to have it. Do not respond to unsolicited messages or click on links contained in them. Please report any suspicious communications to a member service representative as soon as possible by calling us at 800.834.0082, stopping in a branch, or sending us a message via Digital Banking.
If you have provided your personal information to anyone unauthorized to have it, please let us know immediately so we can take action to protect you and your account.
