On Tuesday, April 15th, Carla Schmidt and Candace Treshock, Branch Managers, continued teaching the latest round of The Road to Financial Wellness classes held in partnership with Getting Ahead Foundation in Shamokin. This week’s focus was on the practical skill of Budgeting and the differences between credit and debit cards. Some education topics included wants vs. needs, fixed and variable income and expenses, and creating a budget. Our team also talked about the pros and cons of credit and debit cards along with why and when you might want to choose one card versus the other.
