Please join us as we congratulate the newest graduates of The Road to Financial Wellness! The Mifflinburg Getting Ahead class concluded on Wednesday, February 5th. Instruction was led by Carla Schmidt and Christopher Prowant, Branch Managers.
The final session focused on the topic of Identity Theft and Fraud. The students gained valuable insight into the ways that they can keep their account safe, including what it means to set strong, unique passwords, why you should be careful about what you post online, and why it is important to stay informed about the latest fraud schemes. The class also learned about what steps they should take if they fall victim to identity theft or fraud.
Afterwards, the class participated in a graduation ceremony. All participants received a framed certificate to commemorate their achievement. Congratulations again to the graduates! MC Federal Credit Union is grateful to be a part of your financial wellness journey.
