MC Federal Credit Union is proud to congratulate the latest graduates of The Road to Financial Wellness. The Shamokin Getting Ahead class commenced on Tuesday, May 6th. This session of our empowering financial education program was led by Branch Managers Carla Schmidt and Candace Treshock, who provided expert instruction and guidance throughout the course.

The class concluded with an important session on Identity Theft and Fraud, where participants learned how to safeguard their personal information with strategies like using strong, unique passwords, being mindful of their digital footprint, and staying alert to common fraud schemes. The session also covered practical steps to take if identity theft or fraud occurs.

Following the final class, a graduation ceremony was held to celebrate the students’ accomplishments. Each graduate received a framed certificate to recognize their hard work and dedication to improving their financial well-being.
