At MC Federal Credit Union, we’re always looking for ways to support the local community, and we’re excited to partner with Nickle Plate Bar and Grill for a special Dine to Donate event! From June 15th to June 21st, 2025, you can enjoy a delicious meal while supporting a great cause.
Event Details:
- When: June 15th – June 21st, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily
- Where: Nickle Plate Bar and Grill
954 State Route 487, Elysburg, PA 17824 - How: Simply bring the flyer with you when you dine in or order take-out, and 10% of your check (excluding alcohol and gift card purchases) will be donated to the Getting Ahead Foundation.
What is the Getting Ahead Foundation?
The Getting Ahead Foundation is a local nonprofit organization that helps low-income individuals and families break the cycle of poverty. Through their Getting Ahead in a Just-Gettin’-By World program, participants gain the knowledge, tools, and support they need to build lasting financial and personal stability. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts, and we’re thrilled to support them!
Our Special Connection to the Getting Ahead Foundation
At MC Federal Credit Union, we have a special connection with the Getting Ahead Foundation. Graduates of the Getting Ahead program are invited to participate in The Road to Financial Wellness, our six-week course designed to help individuals build a solid financial foundation. This collaboration gives participants the financial tools they need to make lasting changes in their lives.

We’d love for you to be part of this fundraising event! Here’s how you can help make it a success:
1. Attend the Event – Plan to visit Nickle Plate Bar and Grill between June 15th and June 21st! When you dine in or get take-out, just present the flyer, and 10% of your check will be donated to the Getting Ahead Foundation.
No printer, no problem! You can also get a copy of the donation voucher at any MC Federal branch.
2. Share the Event – Help us spread the word by sharing this event with your friends and family. The more people who know about this event, the more support we can provide to the Getting Ahead Foundation!
