On Saturday, August 12th, 2023, MC Federal Credit Union is hosting a Charity Basket Raffle at our Lewisburg location. We are inviting our friends within the community to join us in honoring and benefiting four great charities located in the communities we serve:
- Getting Ahead Foundation and their dedication to empowering members of our communities to rise out of poverty and equip them with the tools to lead nutritionally, physically, and financially healthy lives.
- The Good Samaritan Mission and their aim to meet the needs of economically disadvantaged individuals and help break the cycle of poverty in the Danville Community.
- Mommy and Me Rescue and their devotion to rescuing dogs that are in need of homes, no matter the reason.
- Eos Therapeutic Riding Center offering therapeutic horseback riding activities for mentally, physically, and emotionally challenged children, adults, and veterans.
We all know that the past few years have been a struggle as people try to get back on their feet. This year we are turning our focus to some small-town initiatives that have a big-time impact. We are seeking donations of items, gift certificates, and experiences that can be offered at the event. Donations should be provided by Friday, July 28th and can be sent to MC Federal Credit Union, Attn Ashley Pyle, 1339 Saint Mary Street, Lewisburg, PA 17837 or dropped off at any of our branch locations.
Doors for the event open at 11 AM. Alongside the Charity Basket Raffle, we will be holding a food & bake sale and a 50/50 drawing. The winners will be drawn beginning at 3 PM, you need not be present to win.
