Yesterday, the MC Federal team gathered for our second biannual Training Day of 2025 — a day dedicated to learning, growth, and connection. These Training Days bring our entire team together to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the values that make our credit union strong.
We were joined by two members of our Board of Directors, who each shared unique insights with the team. Doug Bastian, Board Chairperson, presented on the history of MC Federal Credit Union, while Lonnie Hill, Director, shared an insightful presentation on 20th & 21st Century coins.
This session also featured a creative twist! We partnered with local artist Brittany Lytle, who guided our team through painting a beautiful fall scene. Each team member created their own canvas, and when completed, every painting connected with their neighbor’s to form one large, unified image — a perfect reminder of how each of us plays an important part in our shared success.
As part of the afternoon, our team also participated in a CU Kind Day activity by painting kindness rocks with uplifting images and sayings. Each rock was then taken back to our branches and communities for others to discover. If you find one of our rocks, we encourage you to pass it along or place it in a new location to keep spreading kindness!
At MC Federal, we believe in educating, enlightening, and celebrating — together.
