Carefully Review Unsolicited Communications

When you own a home, your deed is recorded at the local courthouse and becomes part of the public record. It is not uncommon for this information to be used by third parties to solicit you for their products or services.

Whenever you receive an unsolicited communication regarding your mortgage, it is important to review it carefully. These communications may include misleading statements designed to grab your attention and compel you to act quickly. However, if you read the fine print, you will see that the solicitation did not come from an organization affiliated with your current mortgage holder.

Some members have reported receiving a notice regarding the expiration of their home warranty coverage. This notice did not come from MC Federal Credit Union or any of our affiliates. Should you receive an unsolicited communication from a third party not associated with your mortgage, we recommend that you disregard it. Discuss any concerns you may have about your current insurance coverage directly with your insurance provider.

If you have any questions, please reach out to a knowledgeable member of our team by sending a secure digital banking message, calling 800.834.0082, or stopping in a local branch.

Thank you for being an important part of the MC Family!
