• Direct Deposit

  Direct Deposit

  Direct deposit is the safest and fastest way to deposit your paycheck, social security or pension check into your credit union account. Your check can be automatically deposited into your checking or savings account. Payroll deduction allows you to designate a portion of your  funds to make loan payments and estalish a regular savings plan. See your employer’s payroll department or if your check is from the  government, you will need a Federal Direct Deposit Form.

• Wire Transfers

  Wire Transfers

  Wire Transfers are a great way to move funds from one financial institution to another. The transfer will usually be available on the same day you initiate the transaction. International wire transfers may take up to one week to be available to the receiver. The cutoff time for a domestic (within the U.S.) wire transfer is 4:00 pm. The cutoff time for international wire transfers is 12:00 pm. If you wish to send funds to another financial institution, it is recommended that you contact the other institution first to find out what the wiring instructions are. If you wish to receive funds at your M-C account, please call for wiring instructions and see the wire transfer form.

• Savings Bonds

  Savings Bonds

  M-C Federal Credit Union can assist you with all of your United States Savings Bonds needs. You can purchase series EE or I and redeem series E, EE or I savings bonds at any one of our offices. We can also help you with transactions that require being sent to the Federal Reserve Bank such as redeeming series HH bonds. The U. S. Treasury also maintains a website to answer questions or to calculate the value of an existing bond.
  

  Types of Bonds

  • EE Bonds
    Accrual type bonds that are purchased at one half of face value.
  • I Bonds
    Accrual type bonds that are purchased at face value and are inflation indexed savings securities designed to protect the investors’ purchasing power.
  • H, HH and E Bonds
    Bonds that the Federal Reserve no longer offers but you can still cash them in at M-C.

• Cashier’s Checks

  Cashier’s Checks

  M-C Federal Credit Union has Cashiers Checks available for our members. A cashier’s check is a check that is drawn by and on M-C Federal Credit Union using available funds from the requesting member’s account. The Cashier Check makes M-C Federal the primary obligator. The check is assuring the receiving institution, business, or other persons that the funds are guaranteed because the funds have been already paid. Other names for Cashier’s Checks include Bank Checks or Bank Drafts.

• Night Deposit

  Night Deposit

  Night deposits are accepted at our Main, Bloomsburg, and Saint Mary Street offices. It is a service available for all members to deposit funds before or after regular business hours. It is available 24 hours a day. Deposits made before business hours in the morning will be posted that business day. If the deposit is made after hours, then it will be posted the next business day in the morning. All Night Deposits are secured and checked every morning, on a daily basis except on Sundays and Observed Holidays. All Night Deposits are recorded. Contact us for any questions regarding night deposits.

• Coin Counter

  Coin Counter

  No more rolling your coins. You can now bring in your loose change and cash it in with our coin counter. The coin counter will automatically count your change for you! This service is free to all members* and is available in our Main, Bloomsburg and Lewisburg offices.

  *The coin counter service is free to all M-C Federal Credit Union members. For all non-members, there is a fee for use of this service. Members must present the printed receipt from the coin counter to an MSR upon depositing coins. Transactions are not made by the coin counter.
